Dashboards

Dashboards is to extract useful information and form conclusions, in order to maximize the development of the function of the data, play the role of the data, and the data to the detailed study and summary of the process. Dashboards can reveal the laws of movement, change, and development of things, and help enterprises make judgments to improve system operation efficiency, optimize system operation process, and predict future development trends.

We collected a lot of raw data, which needs a structured way to define these raw data and the rules to generate the corresponding metrics.

You can use it to:

  • View data in daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or other customized time frame.

  • Quickly filter and locate problems through the data.

  • Help organizations make decisions

Term Description
Dashboard All charts you added can form a dashboard.
Custom Dashboard You can select charts from multiple modules and suites.
Preset Dashboard You can add charts under one suite within one click.
Shared Dashboard It can be saved as a template and added by other team members.

Dashboard

Add Custom Dashboard

  1. Click "Add" and "Add Custom Dashboard" on the top right corner.
    Note: This will happen if there is dashboard on this page. If not, you need to click "Add" and "Add Custom Dashboard" in the middle of the page.
  2. Input "Dashboard Name".
  3. Select the chart you want to view in the pop-up.
    Note: Set as default: Select "Yes" to display the dashboard as the first one on the page.
  4. Remove unneeded charts by clicking "Remove" in the upper right corner of each chart.​ Click "Copy" to copy the charts, so you can choose different time frame to compare the data of two charts, up to 10 charts can be copied.
  5. Drag and drop to resize the layout of charts.​
    Note: When you hover your mouse over the bottom right corner of a chart, you can drag and stretch the chart to change its size.
  6. Click "Submit".
    Note: Once you have created a dashboard, you can add more dashboards by clicking "Add"-->"Add Custom/Preset Dashboard"

Add IOT Equipment Dashboard

  1. Click "Add" and "Add Custom Dashboard" on the top right corner.
    Note: This will happen if there is dashboard on this page. If not, you need to click "Add" and "Add Custom Dashboard" in the middle of the page.
  2. Input "Dashboard Name".
  3. Select the IoT Equipment tab
  4. Select the chart type you want to view in the pop-up.
  5. Click "Select Data Point" within the charts.
    Note: If you select multiple data points, multiple charts will be created at the same time. You can only select up to 10 data points for one type of chart. You can also filter data points with equipment type and equipment system.
  6. Select Saved as Default
    Note: Select "Yes" to display the dashboard as the first one on the page.
  7. Remove unneeded charts by clicking "Remove" in the upper right corner of each chart.​ Click "Copy" to copy the charts, so you can add charts of different equipment data points quickly.
  8. Drag and drop to resize the layout of charts.​
    Note:* When you hover your mouse over the bottom right corner of a chart, you can drag and stretch the chart to change its size.
  9. Click "Submit".
    Note: You can also re-select data points.

Add Preset Dashboard

  1. Click "Add Preset Dashboard" on the top right corner.
    Note: This will happen if there is dashboard on this page. If not, you need to click "Add" and "Add Preset Dashboard" in the middle of the page.
  2. Click "Add" in the pop-up.
    Note: We have dashboard for five suites. What you can view here is determined by the suites you purchased.
  3. Edit "Dashboard Name"
    Note: There will be a default dashboard name on it. You can edit and change it.
  4. Select the chart you want to view in the pop-up.
    Note: Set as default: Select "Yes" to display the dashboard as the first one on the page.
  5. Remove unneeded charts by clicking "Remove" in the upper right corner of each chart.​​ Click "Copy" to copy the charts, so you can choose different time frame to compare the data of two charts, up to 10 charts can be copied.
  6. Drag and drop to resize the layout of charts.​

  7. Click "Submit".
    Note: Once you have created a dashboard, you can add more dashboards by clicking "Add" --> "Add Custom/Preset Dashboard"

Share Dashboard

If you wanna view the shared dashboard, then it requires configuration people to set template firstly.

Share as Template

  1. Add charts, set time frame and the filters for the dashboard
  2. Click "Actions" on the top right corner.
  3. Click "Share as Template"
    Note: Then this template can be applied to the shared dashboard box for other people to select and then everyone can add this template to be his/her own dashboard. Please note that the time frame of the charts and dashboard will not be saved as template.

Add Shared Dashboard

  1. Click "Add^" on the top right corner.
    Note: This will happen if there is dashboard on this page. If not, you need to click "Add" and "Add Shared Dashboard" in the middle of the page.
  2. Click "Add Shared Dashboard"
  3. Select the template created before and click "Apply"
  4. Click "Submit" if there is no adjustment
    Note: The dashboard name will be prefilled, you can also edit the name. The dashboard can be shared to everyone under this site.

View Dashboard

  1. Select time frame and view them.

Edit Dashboard

  • Click "Actions" on the top right corner.
  • Click "Edit Information".
    Note: You can change the dashboard name. You can also set your dashboard as default here
  • You can also click "Add Chart".
    Note: Click "Confirm" after selecting what you want to add. The dashboard will be automatically saved when you add or move charts.
  • You can also click "Delete Dashboard"

Subscribe Dashboard

  1. Select the charts you want to view and the right time frame
  2. Click "Actions" on the top right corner.
  3. Click "Add Subscription"
    Note: You can add at most 5 subscriptions.
  4. Select range of recurrence
  5. Select daily, weekly, monthly, annual as recurrence pattern
  6. Input recipients
  7. Input subject and content
  8. Click Save
    Note: Then you can click Manage Subscription on the top right corner. The recipients will receive the e-mail according to the configuration. The recipients can open the html attachment and view the dashboard but cannot adjust time frame.

Widgets

Saved as Default

  1. Select time frame for every chart.
  2. Click "Saved as Default."
    Note: This means you can customize the time of every chart. It will be bounded with your account for your convenience to check the dashboard.

Copy/Remove Charts

  1. Click "..." on the top right corner of the chart
  2. Click Copy/Remove.
    Note: After copy the chart, you can rename the chart to distinguish the two charts.

Customize Chart Name

  1. Click "..." on the top right corner of the chart
  2. Click Rename
  3. Input the chart name.
    Note: You can also click "Refresh to Default" to change back to its original name.
  4. Click Save.
