Monitoring Point Management

Monitoring points collect data from all meters by equipment, location, zone, and equipment system.

Monitoring points can be applied to Energy Monitoring Point, Energy Flow Analysis, Energy Saving Analysis, Data Analytics, and Load Rate pages.

You can use it to:

  • Enable additional data visualization dimensions.
  • Configure transformer monitoring points for load analysis.
  • Configure portfolio monitoring points to compare energy usage across all sites.

Add Monitoring Point

  1. Click "Add".
  2. Enter a name for the monitoring point.
  3. Select a monitoring group.
  4. Select an "Associated Type", which includes water, electricity, gas, and thermal.
  5. Select a specific monitoring object, such as equipment or a location, based on the selected "Monitoring Group".
  6. Select specific meters based on the selected "association type". At least one meter must be selected.
  7. Enter the "Weight" (optional).
    Note:Weight represents the percentage of the meter's contribution to the monitoring point. This requires knowing what percentage the meter's usage accounts for. The default weight is 100%. It can be modified and can be a positive or negative number. You can enter up to two decimal places (not "0"), with a range between -100 and 100.

Import Monitoring Point

  1. Click "Import" and then click "Download Template".
  2. Complete the template according to the instructions.
  3. Click "Please select" and select the template.
    Notes: In case of errors, please download the error report file and follow the instructions to modify the template before re-uploading.

Export Monitoring Point

  1. Select the monitoring points you want to export.
  2. Click "Export".

Sync Daily Usage

Tips:Why need to sync daily usage?
To sync data to the page where you can view energy usage by monitoring point, which provides faster query results, saving time and improving operational efficiency.
