Part Category
Part Category refers to a systematic classification of inventory items based on their attributes, purpose, criticality, or supply chain characteristics, with the goal of optimizing inventory control, procurement strategies, and warehouse efficiency.
You can use it to:
- manage part category
- search, manage, and maintain part data.
Add Part Category
- Click "+Add" on the top right corner.
- Input category name and code.
- Select parent category and input description(optional)
Note: You can only select from what you added before. The parent category will follow the same layout as the part category list page.
Edit Part Category
- Hover on the list and click edit icon.
- Edit the field you want to edit.
- Click Save.
