1 | How to do post-event reporting with work order? | You can select "Yes" when assigning a work order at the first time and fill in required information(Result, Time, Part Information and Cost Information). The work order status will become "Closed" and be logged in the platform. |
2 | What's the difference between returning and cancelling an work order? | ‘Return Work Order’ is usually done to a work order created by mistake (mostly service request work orders), which can be returned only before the administrator assigns it for the first time, and you need to select a reason for returning; 'Cancel Work Order' can be done for any reason. However, neither the returned nor the canceled work orders can carry out any subsequent operations. |
3 | What if one or all of a work order's operators accounts are deactivated? | If a work order is not yet completed and all of its the operators' accounts are deactivated, the work order will automatically go back to the "Created" status, and can be reassigned by the administrator; if a work order is not completed but at least one operator's account remains active, the work order can be continued by the remaining operators; if a work order has been completed already, it will not be impacted by the deactivation of operator accounts. |
4 | If a work order is wrongly assigned to someone, can it be re-assigned? | Yes. When the assigned work order is in "Assigned" status, the assigned operator can initiate a transfer request in Akila App, and if the request gets approved by the administrator, the work order can be reassigned to another operator. Meanwhile, the administrator can also directly click the "Reassign" button to initiate the reassignment. |
5 | Can I add more operators to a work order in the course of execution? | No.It is not possible to add or change the operators of a work order after it has been started (after it has entered the "In progress" status). |
6 | How many times can a work order be assigned? | No limitation. When the assigned work order is in "Assigned" status, the assigned operator can initiate a transfer request in Akila App, and if the request gets approved by the administrator, the work order can be reassigned to another operator. Meanwhile, the administrator can also directly click the "Reassign" button to initiate the reassignment. |
7 | What's the difference between evaluating and spot checking an work order? | Evaluating is necessary, for administrators who have the permissions on Mobile App, after operators carrying out and submitting work orders. If the result is "Pass", then the work order's status will become "Closed". If "Fail", the work order must be re-operated. Spot checking is an optional choice, for users with this authority on web/mobile app, after the work order's status become "Closed". |
8 | Can I add/assign/cancel/ return work orders in batch? | No, you can now only batch export work orders. |
9 | When are the jobs generated after adding an inspection plan? | When the inspection plan is successfully created, it will immediately generate the inspection jobs for the remaining time of the day as well as the whole day of the next day; After that, the next full day's work (if any) is automatically generated until the end of the plan. Moreover, if the plan is edited with new frequency added, the the additional inspection jobs for remaining time of the day and the next day will be generated immediately. |
10 | Can I set an inspection plan to skip public holidays? | Yes. You can select holidays when adding/editing an inspection plan, and select to "Skip the work" or execute at "Holiday inspection time". When the date of a job is on a holiday, it will subject to the holiday settings. |
11 | Can I cancel or reschedule an inspection job? | Inspection job now supports cancellation after it has been generated, but rescheduling is not currently supported. However, you can change the timing of future inspections by editing the inspection plan. |
12 | What's the difference between spot inspection and group inspection? | "The objects of spot inspection are equipment, and of group inspection are locations. Group inspection can be set whether to execute in order (Is Route? setting), but spot inspection has no order. There are both spot inspection and group inspection in Maintenance Management module, but there is only group inspection in the Workspace Management |
