Task Group

A Task Group is a collection of tasks. When managers need to create maintenance or inspection plans, they must assign tasks for operators to complete.

You can use it to:

  • Define and configure tasks.
  • Easily deploy tasks to inspection schedules or maintenance programs.
Term Description
Pass/Fail Indicates whether the task result is pass or fail. For example, you can use this to check if the floor is clean.
Text Requires a text description for the task result.
Dropdown Allows you to set predefined options for the task.
Range Allows you to set a value range for the task result.
Meter Reading Facilitates meter reading tasks during inspections. This task type is only available when the equipment type classification belongs to traditional meters.

Add Task Group - Location or Equipment

  1. Click "+Add"
  2. Enter a name for the task group.
  3. Select "Location" or "Equipment" as the Task Group Type.
    Note: If you select "Location", you need to select the related location and it can be applied to "Group Inspection". If you select "Equipment", you need to select the related equipment type and it can be applied to "Spot Inspection" and "Maintenance Plan".
  4. Proceed to add tasks.
  5. Toggle the switch in the top right corner of each task to mark it as optional.
    Note: If you enable this option, operators can skip the task when carrying out inspection or maintenance jobs on the mobile app.
  6. Enter a name for the task.
  7. Select whether a work order is required for abnormal task results.
  8. Select whether photos are required.
    Note: You must select "Yes" when the task type is "Meter Reading".
  9. Upload technical documents (optional).
    Note: The formats include:
    Documents: .pdf, .doc, .docx
    Spreadsheets: .xls, .xlsx, .csv
    Presentations: .ppt, .pptx
    Text Files: .txt
    Images: .jpg, .jpeg, .png
    Archives: .zip, .rar, .7z
    Videos: .mp4, .mov, .hevc
    Model: .dwg
  10. Click "+Add" to add another task (optional).
  11. Click "Submit".

Add Task Group - Combination

  1. Click "+Add"
  2. Enter a name for the task group.
  3. Select "Combination" as the Task Group Type.
  4. Select a location.
    Note: This can be applied to "Group Inspection". This location can be linked with the group inspection location to display the corresponding task group.
  5. Proceed to add tasks.
  6. Select "Location" or "Equipment".
    Note: If you select a location, operators will carry out inspection tasks at that location. If you select equipment, operators will carry out inspection tasks for that equipment. The location serves as the inspection task location.
  7. Toggle the switch in the top right corner of each task to mark it as optional.
    Note: If you enable this option, operators can skip the task when carrying out inspection or maintenance jobs on the mobile app.
  8. Enter the task name.
  9. Select the associated location or equipment.
    Note: If you selected a location at step 6, you need to select the specific location here. If you selected equipment at step 6, you need to select the specific equipment here.
  10. Select the task type.
  11. Select whether a work order is required for abnormal task results.
  12. Select whether photos are required.
    Note: You must select "Yes" when the task type is "Meter Reading".
  13. Upload technical documents (optional).
  14. Click "+Add" to add another task (optional).
  15. Click "Submit".

Import Task Group

  1. Click "Import" in the top right corner of the task group list.
  2. Download the template.
  3. Complete the template according to the filling instructions.
  4. Select the completed template and click "Confirm".
