Waste Type Configuration

Waste type configuration includes all waste categories and waste types you added on the Waste Type Configuration page under "General Settings".

Term	Description
Waste Category (Parent)	A collection of all waste types. For example, dry garbage.
Waste Type (Child)	Waste generated in daily life. For example, serviettes belong to the garbage category.

You can use it to:

• Select applicable waste types for the current site.

Edit Waste Type

1. Click "Edit".
2. Select the waste types you want to configure for this site.
   Note: If "Yes" is selected under "Is Required?" on the Waste Type Configuration page in "General Settings", then this waste type is mandatory for all sites and cannot be deselected here.
3. Click "Save".
   Note: The configurations here will appear as drop-down options when adding waste logs.
