| What does "Save Search" mean on the Energy Monitoring page? | Site managers or operational personnel may need to view the same energy monitoring chart on a regular basis, so they can save the chart with fixed filters and customize the filter names. |
| Can I have a tabular view usage data on the Energy Monitoring page? | Yes, there is a table under the charts which displays all energy usage data. You can also click "Export" to export this data to Excel. |
| What are the prerequisites for adding "Historical data" energy saving dashboards and/or "Target usage" dashboards on the Energy Saving page? | When you have historical data of the equipment or meter on the current site, you can add a "Historical Data" dashboard. When you know the target energy usage data and want to compare the targeted usage data with real usage data, you can add a "Target usage" dashboard. |
| Why can't I select Total usage and other tariff time periods at the same time? | This is because we provide two options for tracking energy invoices, either by a total number recorded from a bill, or a breakdown of the bill by tariff time period. If you want to track by tariff time period breakdown, the total usage and total cost will be automatically calculated from your inputs, ensuring that the total number is accurate. |
| What does sharp, peak, shoulder and off-peak usage of "City Power" energy type mean on the "Invoice Configuration" page? | Sharp, peak, shoulder and off-peak usage describe the amount of electricity consumed at different times of the day. First of all, let's clarify the corresponding four time periods: The sharp electricity usage period refers to the short period of time of the day when the demand for electricity is at its highest, and is a level above the standard "peak" demand. This usually occurs during morning and evening rush hours, when homes and businesses use electricity in large quantities at the same time. For example, people get up in the morning to get ready for work and go home in the evening to use various appliances such as lighting, televisions, and air conditioners, causing electricity demand to rise dramatically. The peak electricity usage period is the period when the demand is higher but does not reach the peak compare to sharp time. This period usually occurs around the peak electricity period, for example, in the morning before work and in the evening after dinner. During these hours, many people are still using a lot of electricity, but overall demand has dropped slightly. The shoulder electricity usage period is the time period when the demand is relatively stable, which is neither the sharp electricity usage period nor the peak electricity usage period. This is usually the time during the daytime and the nighttime break, when people are not at home or when businesses are using relatively little electricity. Off-Peak electricity usage is the time of day when electricity demand is lowest, usually occurring late at night to early in the morning, when most people sleep, business activity is reduced, and industrial electricity usage is also at a low point. The electricity usage corresponding to these four time periods is the sharp usage, peak usage, shoulder usage and off-peak usage. |
| Where do the meters come from on the "List" tab of "Meter Configuration" page? | After adding equipment with its equipment type as "Smart Meter" or "Traditional Meter" on the Equipment Ledger page, it will be synced to this page automatically. |
| When can I select "Meter Data" and "Local Data" on the "Energy Source Configuration" page? | When the site did not install any meters or some historical data needs to be supplemented after installing meters, you can select "Local Data". When the site has installed meters and needs to transfer data to the platform, you can select "Meter Data". |
| Why the energy type displays "-" on the Meter Configuration page? | You can contact Akila delivering team for help to configure related data points. |
| If two rooms on the first floor share an electricity meter, and an engineer wants to view the electricity usage of each room on the platform, how can he do? | 1.Add a monitoring point for Room 1 in the Monitoring Point Management page, select "Location" as the monitoring point type, and make sure to fill in the weight based on the actual situation. 2. Add a monitoring point for Room 2 in the Monitoring Point Management page, select "Location" as the monitoring point type, and make sure to fill in the weight based on the actual situation. 3.In the Energy Monitoring page, filter the monitoring points by location to view the energy consumption data for these two rooms separately. |
